Kindle for $99
Amazon is now offering refurbished Kindles for $99, which probably means that new Kindle models are coming very soon. As someone who’s written numerous ebooks, I can say that this is definitely good news. -JM

Phoronix recently ran a survey asking its readers what they dislike about Ubuntu. Apparently, they really, really hate Unity. Unity inspires a love it or hate it reaction, but it looks like hate is so far predominating. -JM
