I tried a new computer game called Mount & Blade this weekend. It’s a little hard to describe; it’s a combination strategy game, open-ended simulation, and RPG. Basically, you are an adventurer just arrived in a war-torn medieval realm, equipped only with a rusty sword and a crappy horse. From there you can go on to become a mercenary captain, a tournament champion, a lord, and even king of a united realm.
I gave the game the highest review I can give a game – I had to uninstall it and delete all my saved games because I wasn’t getting any freaking work done.
