Ars Technica has hands-on with the Diablo 3 beta.
Looks a lot like Torchlight, doesn’t it?
I suspect I won’t be playing Diablo 3 for two reasons. One, the stupid Internet-only restriction – if the game can’t connect to the Internet, it won’t launch. (That’s why I play Torchlight, and am looking forward to Torchlight 2.) Two, (and this is perhaps the bigger reason) I’m at an age where I no longer have much time for computer games.
But, still. Internet access required for play? Lame.

Many thanks for posting this, I’ve been looking into this on bing. I’ve been comparing opinions from different people, rather than an organization web page, that’s why I like blogs so much. Many thanks!
