I’ve Come To Chew Bubblegum And Kick Ass…And I Am Amply Supplied With Bubblegum

I have acquired the disgusting habit of gum-chewing.

Yes, I know. It’s a terrible habit. But it’s really quite helpful.

You see, I lost 135 pounds from 2009 to 2010, and so far I’ve managed to keep it off. But I get these…cravings. But that seems like an inadequate word for the experience. It’s more like…

CRAVINGS.

Like, the “I-want-to-eat-an-entire-extra-large-meat-pizza” kind of cravings.

So I started chewing gum. It’s really rather helpful – my brain seems to think that I’m eating, so it shuts up about the pepperoni pizza already. Plus, it helps reduce irritability.

I just have to remember not to do it while on the phone.

Way to go, Jon! And chewing gum is better than smoking, right? :)
