It seems increasingly likely that RIM, maker of the Blackberry device, is about to die.
Frankly, I won’t miss it. I have spent a great deal of time trying to cudgel Blackberry devices into working with a Blackberry Enterprise Server, and the process was always unpleasant. It is far easier to sync an iPhone or an Android device with any number of mail accounts. The iPhone (and, to a lesser extent, Android devices) have revolutionized the smartphone space, and the Blackberry model of devices with small screens and tiny keys is simply obsolete.
