A one-sentence review of “Snow White and the Hunstman.”

This contained many pieces of an excellent movie, and it’s a pity no one managed to assemble them.

Yeah, I kind of agree with that statement. I didn’t like the first half of the film, but thought it picked up in the second, so I did enjoy it, though it was no great movie. Maybe if it had a better director? Or at least a more experienced one, I believe this was the director’s first film, and it shows (at least in some parts).

Yeah. It couldn’t make up its mind what kind of movie it wanted to be, and a lot of plot hooks weren’t followed through.

Also, I thought Snow White’s “rousing speech” to the army was remarkably incoherent.
