Spiders vs. Moths
A while back we discussed which made for a creepier monster – giant spiders or giant moths.
Today I edited a chapter of GHOST IN THE WINDS, and then looked at the outline for MASK OF SPELLS. I’ve been chipping away at MASK OF SPELLS since June (a couple hundred words here and there) and I’ve finally gotten to Chapter 5 of 20.
And as I looked at the outline, I had a realization. The MASK OF THE DEMONSOULED trilogy has giant spiders…but there’s no reason that MASK OF SPELLS can’t have giant moths as well. In fact, there are several places in the book where they would fit perfectly.
So I am proud to announce that MASK OF SPELLS shall have the best of both worlds – giant spiders and giant moths! Mazael’s going to be busy. 🙂

Giant “moth monsters” kinda remind me of the monsters in Guillermo del Toro’s film, Mimic. 🙂
