writing progress updates
Had a few emails asking when books will come out, so it’s time for a progress update!
Right now I have four books in various stages of progress, and here’s where they are at:
-SEVENFOLD SWORD: WARLORD. I’m on Chapter 17 of 24 at 85,000 words. Almost 3/4 done!
-GHOST IN THE GLASS. I’m on Chapter 8 of 20 at 37,000 words. Almost halfway done!
-SILENT ORDER #6. I’m on Chapter 1 of 10 at 4,000 words.
-CLOAK GAMES: BLOOD CAST. I’ve finished the outline but haven’t started it yet.
I want to publish SEVENFOLD SWORD: WARLORD in November and GHOST IN THE GLASS in December. After that I haven’t 100% decided what order I’m going to do things.

Wait why Silent Order number 6? Didn’t you say you were writing 4 sci fi books and releasing them all through October? Did they spawn a 5th book already?
The original plan was to do four and to put them in Kindle Unlimited. Then I wrote a fifth one entirely in Ubuntu just to prove that it could be done. When the first one came out, I had enough complaints about the books being in KU that I scrapped the original marketing plan and put the books on all platforms. I needed a new marketing plan, so I’ll write a sixth one and make the first one free sometime in 2018.
Of all the problems to have, deciding which book of 4 quality series to write next is one that many an author would love to have.
On one hand I am going thru a serious Cloak Games withdrawal, on the other I know there are only 3 books left in that series and spacing them out makes each one more enjoyable to read.
Then again I have bought everything you have written in the last few years within 24 hours of release so as long as you keep writing I know I will have a new book to read every 4 to 6 weeks.

I haven’t totally decided what order I’m going to do things after December. Really I should start on SEVENFOLD SWORD #4 immediately after GHOST IN THE GLASS comes out, but I might try to sneak in CLOAK GAMES: BLOOD CAST first.
I vote for more Cloak Games! 😃 in fact I think you should plan on extending that series!

More GHOSTS in December and CLOAK GAMES in early 2018!
Looking forward to both Ghosts and Sevenfold. I’m really enjoying the latest Ridmark books (the new artwork is fantastic), though the Ghosts will always have a special place in my heart. Keep it up!
Thanks! More with both Ridmark and Caina is coming soon. I finish the rough draft of SEVENFOLD SWORD: WARLORD yesterday, and GHOST IN THE GLASS should be out in December.
What’s the estimated date for the release of Silent Order 6? I’ve read the first 4 within a day or 2 of their release and am eagerly looking forward to number 5 next week. Hopefully not too long to wait until the conclusion or will it now be open ended?
Thanks! #5 next week will wrap up a bunch of the major plots. That said, I’m working on #6 right now, and hope to have that out in early 2018.
