A story ten years in the making, here at last is the triumphant third book of the “Demonsouled” series.

Mazael, now Lord of Castle Cravenlock, faces his darkest challenge yet. A horde of inhuman fiends has descended upon the Grim Marches, slaying and killing. The priests of the serpent god lurk in the shadows, scheming vengeance upon Mazael…and upon his family.

But both the fiends and the priests of the serpent god serve another master, one who plots to seize the throne of the heavens itself, a foe that even Mazael’s skill and valor may not be able to defeat…

  1. I will say this Your books are the most enjoyable i have the pleasure of reading in years. For me i would love to see you go back to the world that you have built with demonsouled series. Is there a chance you will bring more stories to us from that world

    1. Hi Joshua,

Thanks for the kind words about the book, and I’m glad you liked it.

I am indeed planning to write more books in the “Demonsouled” world. If all goes well, I hope to have the next book in the series, “Soul of Dragons”, available in February of 2012.

  2. I first bought Demonsouled on iBooks last year and since then have re read it three or four times. I thought it was an excellent book and also purchased Soul of Tyrants. I really liked how Lucan got some more development in it and the power play between Mazael and Amalric. Sadly, I haven’t bought Soul of Serpents yet but I promise I will. Your other series, Child of the Ghosts was amazing as well. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

    1. Hi Francesca,

Thanks for the kind words about the books! I’m glad you liked them.

Lucan continues to be a major character in the rest of the DEMONSOULED books.

  3. I have now read your first two books and I must say they are the best novels I have encountered in a long long time. I am looking forward to reading the rest in the series. And give you a heartfelt thank you for your efforts and talent.

  4. Quick question: While I was reading Soul of Serpents I noticed that Malavost warded himself against weapons about a chapter before Rachel kills him. Did he remove the ward while he tried to stab Adlane? He should have lived and taken over the world and named it Malavostland.

    1. Good catch – all his power had gone into the Door of Souls, so he didn’t have any left to maintain his defenses. He figured his summoned creatures would deal with Mazael and the others.

      1. I have just finished Soul of Tyrants and was looking forward to the next. However, to my dismay, I soon discovered that there was not a printed version of book 3. I do not have any electronic devices such as a kindle nor do I plan to get one, I am old fashioned and cherish my book collection. You said “eventually I’ll get all of them there,” are there definitive plans in the works? If so, when?

        1. I have fallen off the print book wagons lately, but I hope to get back on it in time for Christmas. Sorry for the delay.

  5. This is the second book I’ve read of yours, and bravo! I’m completely enthralled with this series. The characters are vivid in their emotions, their struggles and their mistakes. I love the development of each and how you’ve put me right there with them. Thank you! I haven’t read a more exciting, heart wrenching, edge of your seat series in years!
