From the author of DEMONSOULED and THE GHOSTS, here is a new epic fantasy of high adventure, heroism, and daring deeds.

A thousand years ago, the last grandson of Arthur Pendragon led the survivors of Britain through a magical gate to a new world, a world of magic and high elves, of orcs and kobolds and stranger, darker creatures. Now the descendants of the exiles rule a mighty kingdom, peaceful and prosperous under the rule of the High King.

But a shadow threatens to devour the kingdom.

RIDMARK ARBAN was once a Swordbearer, a knight of renown. Now he is a branded outcast, stripped of his sword, and despised as a traitor.

But he alone sees the danger to come.

CALLIANDE awakens in the darkness, her memories gone, and creatures of terrible power hunting her.

For she alone holds the secret that can save the world…or destroy it utterly.

The secret of the Frostborn.

Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you liked the book. Right now I’m about 2/3 of the way through the rough draft of the third FROSTBORN book, and I’m hoping to have it out in late February or March if all goes well.

Was there a listed order to reading the short stories? Finally getting around to starting this series and want to read the short story that accompanies the books in order.

For the short stories themselves, I suppose the order would go like this:

      THE SOULBLADE’S TALE
      THE KNIGHT’S TALE
      THE ORC’S TALE
      THE MAGE’S TALE
      THE THIEF’S TALE
      THE ASSASSIN’S TALE
      THE PALADIN’S TALE
      THE TRAITOR’S TALE

Combined with the books, I think they’d go like this:

      THE SOULBLADE’S TALE
      THE KNIGHT’S TALE
      THE ORC’S TALE
      FROSTBORN: THE FIRST QUEST
      FROSTBORN: THE GRAY KNIGHT
      FROSTBORN: THE EIGHTFOLD KNIFE
      THE MAGE’S TALE
      FROSTBORN: THE UNDYING WIZARD
      THE THIEF’S TALE
      THE ASSASSIN’S TALE
      FROSTBORN: THE MASTER THIEF
      FROSTBORN: THE IRON TOWER
      THE PALADIN’S TALE
      FROSTBORN: THE DARK WARDEN
      THE TRAITOR’S TALE
      FROSTBORN: THE GORGON SPIRIT
      FROSTBORN: THE BROKEN MAGE

I love the story! I’m currently on the 4th frostborn book, and looking forward to reading the rest of the series when I go on vacation in February. However, I download the eBook versions on my kobo, and have to say the grammar and spelling is horrible. Whoever your editor is needs to slow down and really read the book. Maybe I need to apply to be an editor!

    Keep up the good work!

It is a series of 14 novels, with one more to be written and released later this year. There are a number of tie-in short stories.

I am so happy I found my way into the Frostborn series. I have loved every one of the books and I’m happy to find there are some short stories too that I can read as soon as I have finished no 14.
Thank you for making my mornings brighter every day for the last weeks! (reading while I’m drying my hair) I read later in the day too of course but it gives me a spark in the morning that kicks of a good start on my day.
What would you recommend from your book shelf next? Have a great weekend!
