Caina Amalas is a nightfighter of the Ghosts, the spies and assassins of the Emperor of Nighmar, and through cunning and valor she has cast down both proud lords and mighty sorcerers.

But a power darker than any she has ever faced is awakening.

When a mad assassin armed with a sorcerous blade rampages through the Emperor’s capital, Caina must track the weapon to its origin, a ruined city blighted by the folly of sorcerers, a city that holds weapons far more potent than mere blades.

I loved your new book! It was wonderful, as always! I like that you found Kylon a girl. It makes sure there is nothing between Ciana`s and Corvais` relationship.

Thanks! I’m glad you liked it.

I don’t think Kylon and Caina would ever quite work out as a romantic couple…Caina detests sorcery, and Kylon is at least mildly frightened of her, which is not a good foundation for a long-term relationship. 🙂

Are you planning to make “Ghost rage” and the other “chose your own story” into an actually Ghost story?

I’m not entirely sure yet. I think I’ll wind up using parts of them, but I’m not sure which parts. 🙂

Have you consider writing a short story about Maat? It would be interesting to see have they were defeated by Moroaica.

Actually, that’s going to be the topic of GHOST UNDYING, the short story I’ll give away with GHOST IN THE SURGE. It will be from Sicarion’s POV several centuries ago, when he is hired to kill the Moroaica.
