Sorry no rush. Thought the link was broken because the end of last book had a link to go there. Thanks for the great work.

Thanks! If all goes well, I should be able to finish the book tomorrow, and then upload it this weekend.

    Please don’t kill off Morigna.

She’s a good character, she just needs to learn to value something more than power.

Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you liked the books.

      For the questions:

1.) The woman from Londinium will be back – she returns in FROSTBORN: THE GORGON SPIRIT.

2.) I would say that JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, David Gemmell, Robert E Howard, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, John C Wright, Timothy Zahn, Morris Bishop, and Jim Butcher are my favorite authors.

3.) The best thing I have to say about writing advice can be found here:

Just finished The Iron Tower. Again this series is amazing. Will start book six tonight. Great story! I read quite a lot of books, most of them epic fantasy. Your formula is a very fresh take done with the skill of a master storyteller. And Rimark Alban is a well rounded hero. I have always been a sucker for a good hero story, one whose hero is a natural leader. Thank you for your work.
Where can I find a map of this world? I always like the maps. You do a great job of describing location, direction, and distance, so not necessary, but still…
Also I would like to find employment editing this kind of work. Do you have any advice or contacts?

I picked up the 4 book Omnibus a few weeks ago and just got around to starting it on 6/2. I have since finished it and bought books 5 and 6. I will definitely purchase books 7-10 in the next few days (I seem to go through a book a day so I’m trying to pace myself!) I have thoroughly enjoyed these books and will purchase any more that come out, as well as your other books. Thank you for giving me yet another world to visit!

Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the first few FROSTBORN books, and hope you enjoy the rest of them.

I’m planning for a grand total of 15, and #11 should come out some time this summer.

I just finished the Dark Warden, and purchased books 7 through 10 in the series. I saw in this post that #11 might be released in the summer of 2016, it is now Sept 5, 2016 and I haven’t seen anything… Is there a release date? Also what might be the schedule for the remaining 4 books? I am really enjoying the series so far…

Couple of thoughts. Adore the series and am heading to purchase #7. The main characters are well developed and it seems like you (the reader) are getting to know them, as are the rest of the entourage does, as they progress through their adventure. Finally I would advise you to find more varied ways to express your appreciation of their feedback beyond “Thanks for the kind words”. As a fan reading other fan feedback and your responses it begins to sound disingenuous regardless of you intent. I think you have a great future here and look forward to exploring more of your works.

Have just finished Frostborn The Dark Warden – so far this series has surpassed my expectations, sometimes making you unable to put down the story to see what happens. So exciting.
However, I have just opened the link to the next story Frostborn The Gorgon Spirit and some that come after that and I cannot find them on your site. Can you please tell me how I can access these for my iPad please.

Many thanks for these riveting stories.

Hi. Just started the Dark Warden. I’m really enjoying the series.

    Just a few things.
1 Calliande is way better for Ridmark than Morigna IMO
2 I’m hoping Ridmark starts getting over his self flagellation, it’s getting a bit annoying.
3 I wish you developed Karlzhac and Caius a little more, they are great characters and seem kind of overlooked.
    4. Spelling errors galore. I know you know, wondering if you can see what is highlighted in your kindle versions? I’ve noticed people are highlighting some of the spelling errors. I wish I could fix them for you!
    5. Great world building, I’ve not read anything else of yours but I will!
    6. Love the turn Mara has taken, very interesting
7 I wish there were pictures of some of these monsters! I’m intrigued by your vision of them.
8 are there books before this that explain how people got into this world?

Thanks again!!! Great series and I love that it is not crazy expensive o keep reading.

Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the FROSTBORN books.

1.) I get more email about that love triangle than anything else I’ve ever written.

2.) Character development to come. 🙂

3.) One of the later books is called THE DWARVEN PRINCE. 🙂

4.) Alas, typos are like Pokemon. No matter how hard you try, you can never catch them all.

5.) Thanks! The “humans go to magical world and build civilization” story trope has a long and honorable pedigree, so I’m glad I got to use that.

6.) Mara took on a far bigger role than I intended. Originally, she was just Jager’s girlfriend, and would stay behind in Coldinium when the others went to Urd Morlemoch. Then when I got to her first scene in THE MASTER THIEF, I was bored with her character, and I just threw in the detail that she was half dark elven. That totally threw her character (and the series) into a new direction.

7.) I suppose the various dark elven monsters would look like postapocalyptic mutant wolves or bears and such.

8.) A prequel series is a possibility, but not yet, alas.
