From the author of DEMONSOULED and THE GHOSTS, here is a new epic fantasy of high adventure, heroism, and daring deeds.

A thousand years ago, the last grandson of Arthur Pendragon led the survivors of Britain through a magical gate to a new world, a world of magic and high elves, of orcs and kobolds and stranger, darker creatures. Now the descendants of the exiles rule a mighty kingdom, peaceful and prosperous under the rule of the High King.

But a shadow threatens to devour the kingdom.

RIDMARK ARBAN was once a Swordbearer, a knight of renown. Now he is a branded outcast, stripped of his sword, and despised as a traitor.

But he alone sees the danger to come.

CALLIANDE awakens in the darkness, her memories gone, and creatures of terrible power hunting her.

For she alone holds the secret that can save the world…or destroy it utterly.

The secret of the Frostborn.

His sister hopes to wed a brutal and cruel knight. The whispers speak of living corpses that stalk the night, of demons that lurk in darkness, and a sinister snake-cult that waits in the shadows.

Yet Mazael’s darkest enemy waits elsewhere.

Within his own tainted soul…

In 2013, a gate to another world opened, and Elves used their magic to conquer Earth, crushing all resistance before them.

Three hundred years after the Conquest, the exiled Elven High Queen rules an orderly but stagnant Earth, with humanity forced to fight in the High Queen’s war against the traitors on the Elven homeworld.

Nadia Moran doesn’t care about that. She doesn’t care about the High Queen, or the Rebels seeking to overthrow her. All she cares about is getting her baby brother the treatments he needs to recover from his potentially fatal disease…and those treatments have a steep price.

Fortunately, Nadia has magic of her own, and she’s a very, very good thief.

Unfortunately, the powerful Elven lord Morvilind has a hold on Nadia. If she doesn’t follow his commands, her brother is going to die.

Of course, given how dangerous Morvilind’s missions are, Nadia might not live long enough to see her brother’s death…

I found you from an Amazon UK recommendation. I now have nearly all your fantasy books. I’ve read Rachaelis’ series (which I literally devoured over 1.5 days), I’m now on Ghosts in the Storm after having read all the others and Demonsouled is next.

I have been dithering over whether to buy your books for months and when I saw some were up there for free, I instantly downloaded them. I now regret not getting them MONTHS ago. I’m sooo sad now I’ve nearly finished the latest Caina novel and I have to say that you NEED to write more of her novels!

      Hi Sarrie!

Thanks for the kind words about THE GHOSTS. I have a new GHOSTS novella, GHOST DAGGER, that will be coming out sometime in September. After that, I hope to start writing the next book in the GHOSTS series, GHOST IN THE STONE, after I clear my plate of a few other projects.

Your stories give me faith that there are others out there.
Like me and that they are just as defenisive, getting ridiculed has a way of stopping or making us shut downward move on till we find a place that can we can buffer the emmotions that assault us at every public place

As of right now, I’m on chapter 23 of 27 of the rough draft for GHOST IN THE STONE. If all goes well, I should have it wrapped up by the end of October or the beginning of November.

I just finished Ghost in the Stone about an hour ago. I really enjoyed the story, as I have enjoyed the entire series of Caina and the Ghosts. I am very excited for Ghost in the Forge, as the end of Stone really caught my attention. I appreciate having such an engaging and interesting character to look forward to reading about. I found this series by searching for something new to read, and I am glad I found it. I am going to start on your other collections while I wait for Forge to be published. I am now a devoted fan of your writing. Thank you. 🙂

I read Ghost in the Storm and loved it so now I’m working my way through the rest of the series.
Since the first book I’ve had a question about the ranking system for the ghosts.
Caina is a nightfighter and Halfdan is a circlemaster, but what are the other ranks and where does Caina stand in terms of authority inside the ghosts?

If this gets a reply that answers my question I thank you for your time.

TOWER OF ENDLESS WORLDS is definitely the weirdest thing I’ve written, though some of the short stories in my $1.99 DARK FANTASY collections come a bit close.

No fears about a “Red Wedding” type event in THE GHOSTS – if I kill off all the likeable characters, it will make it all the harder to write future books. 🙂

Hey there Jonathan, I stumbled upon your Demonsouled series and finished all books within a week, progressed to the Frostborn series then have just finished the Third Soul series. I have now started The Tower of Endless Souls and already have laying in wait, The Dark Warden. To say I am impressed, is an understatement. I find your characters engaging and your writing has a flow to it. I look forward to reading further adventures as and when you write them, but please, hurry up. Oh, and get a proof reader, please, some of the minor mistakes could be so easily avoided with a good one in tow. Cheers, James.

Will you please say when you expect another Ghost book to be released? I downloaded the free one and quickly purchased all the rest. In fact, I finished all 11 books in 11 days. They were interesting and quite enjoyable. I just began the Frostborn series. While I liked the first book well enough to purchase the second, I was a bit perplexed when I found the prequel (listed for free) third in the “oldest to newest” order. Since I already know the outcome of the story line from the first book, I am in no great rush to read it. I wish I had perused the entirety of the selections before I began, but one cannot unread a book, so that is a moot wish. At any rate, I am eager to begin the second book this evening and hope that I enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed the Ghost series.

The next GHOSTS book will be called GHOST IN THE RAZOR, and if all goes well I’ll start writing it in November.

Concerning the FROSTBORN prequel novella, it’s sort of an odd duck. For each for the FROSTBORN books, I wrote an accompanying short story – THE ORC’S TALE, THE MAGE’S TALE, and so so. Ridmark’s was supposed to be called THE KNIGHT’S TALE, recounting his first journey to Urd Morlemoch, but it turned into a novella instead, so I changed it to FROSTBORN: THE FIRST QUEST and released it as a prequel novella.

Totally having a good time reading the Frostborn series. Hope the other 5 come out SOON.

    Hi there:

So now I’m done. I’ve got nothing left of yours to read:( , but I’ll keep checking in.

It’s been a great couple of months reading all the adventures and can’t wait for the
Ghost in the Winds. I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait.

    Take care, and happy writing.

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed all the books – that was a lot of books.

I’m up to Chapter 4 of GHOST IN THE WINDS, so hopefully the wait shouldn’t be too much longer.

I know, I just couldn’t stop once I got started. I really, really quite enjoyed them all. Lotta laughs, but also a lotta tears.

Every free moment I had went into reading your books (even a few stolen moments while I was at work), but that’s between you and me, lol.

Well like I said, I’ll keeping checking in. I’m signed up for your newsletter as well as following you on Facebook.

        Have a great summer.
