The Pulp Writer Show, Episode 276: Six Lessons Learned From A 300% Increase In Direct Sales

In this week’s episode, I take a look at my direct sales for 2025, and consider six lessons for improving direct sales. I also answer a reader question about Kobo Plus.

You can listen to the show with transcript at the official Pulp Writer Show site, and you can also listen to it at SpotifyApple Podcasts Amazon MusicLibsyn, and YouTube.

Your link for your official pulp writer site is to last weeks episode, not this one. I prefer your website over the other options because I can read the transcript, which is faster for me than listening to the audio.
As one of your new payhip customers, I like the no DRM so I can copy to phone and tablet for easy reading. I also like the fact that you are making more money while not costing me anything. Before that I used Kindle for the convenience and because I figured that Amazon was more likely to survive various troubles than the other book vendors.
Buying from you directly also means that I don’t have to worry about losing my books if the corporation decides they don’t want to do business in that area any more. Cough Microsoft cough.

Fixed the link. Thanks for catching that!

Yeah, Microsoft is extremely unreliable in a lot of different areas.
