I had the hardest time finding a background I liked for this one. I wanted something that obviously said “large city environment” but the trouble is that many pictures of that nature have too many distracting lights in the background.

Finally I was digging through my image archive, and I found some pictures I took of the Interstate 35 tunnel in downtown Duluth, MN from when I visited there several years ago. By good chance, there were no other cars in the tunnel, and I thought it might work well for a book cover at some point, so I took several pictures. (Fear not, automotive safety advocates, I was in the passenger seat.)

Anyway, I am now 38% of the way through the first editing, so we’re on track to have the book out in March if all goes well. So this might be a really good time to subscribe to my new-release newsletter. 🙂
