SEVENFOLD SWORD meets dinosaurs!
A reader emailed today to ask if the trisalian lizards in SEVENFOLD SWORD: WARLORD were based on the triceratops dinosaur.
No, the trislians aren’t based on the triceratops dinosaur.
They actually are triceratops dinosaurs. I hope that clears that up. 🙂
I always wanted to write a fantasy novel with dinosaurs, and SEVENFOLD SWORD has given me the chance. A couple different kinds of dinosaurs have turned up so far:
Scutians = protoceratops.
Trisalians = triceratops.
Struthians = struthiomimus.
I look forward to introducing more dinosaur types into future SEVENFOLD SWORD books.

So we can look forward to the predators too: Tyrannosaurus , Spinosaurus and giganotosaurus….and the largest planteater – the 100+ tonne and 7 story high Supersaurus! The latter could shrug off 50 caliber bullets like pinpricks!
The possibilities are endless! And a Supersaurus would probably be indifferent to soulblade attacks, too.
