SEVENFOLD SWORD: SHADOW rough draft finished!

I am pleased to report that the rough draft for SEVENFOLD SWORD: SHADOW is now complete. 106,000 words in 20 days!

Next up is SHIELD KNIGHT: RIDMARK’S TALE, a novella which I will give away for free to my newsletter subscribers (via Smashwords coupon code and BookFunnel) when SHADOW comes out in March. Originally, I had planned for SHIELD KNIGHT: RIDMARK’S TALE to be about the decisions in the final chapter of FROSTBORN: THE SHADOW PRISON, but many people emailed to say they would rather hear about the first time that Ridmark met Third.

So, change of plan. SHIELD KNIGHT: RIDMARK’S TALE will be about the first time Ridmark met Third, told from Ridmark’s perspective.

If all goes well I will start editing them both next week, which means it will be time to share the cover art!
