GHOST IN THE AMULET Table of Contents

I am far enough along in editing that I can share the Table of Contents for GHOST IN THE AMULET, which you can see below.

I am also far enough along that I think I’m confident, barring unexpected developments, that the book will be available in the first week of October.

So i recently hunted a Sword and Sorceress that had your story Black Ghost Red Ghost and i was wondering how difficult it was for you to pick and choose what you wanted to do with her solo series vs what you did in the short story. And was it a little liberating writing her for the Cloak Games story with a more modern setting? Thanks for helping me get back into reading and we need more Morgant!!!!! lol have a great day.

I originally had the idea of keeping the S&S stories synchronized with the novels (in the short story series, Caina is in her 30s, and as of GHOST IN THE AMULET, she’s 25), but I eventually gave it up as too complicated.

CLOAK & GHOST wasn’t liberating so much as it is a fun challenge. Like, Earth!Caina never uses throwing knives, because with handguns what’s the point? (She’s a really good shot though.) The main fun is in having Caina and Nadia bounce off each other, since they have such different personalities. Like, when Nadia gets angry, she’ll lose her temper for twenty minutes and then calm down. When Caina gets angry, she internalizes it and overthrows a government or something. I’m looking forward to introducing Earth!Kylon, who will definitely have some inspiration from John Wick.

It was fun to bring back Morgant!
