The Conquering Swords of Conan

A rather interesting essay about Robert E. Howard’s interest in swords, and a technical discussion of the blades that turned up in his poems.

Swordfighting is a requirement for any good fiction – the one outstanding part of the “Star Wars” prequels, after all, were the lightsaber duels (even if the characters holding the lightsabers were flat and lifeless, the duels themselves were fun to watch).
