progress update & Happy Easter!
I am now 75,000 words into CLOAK OF DRAGONFIRE! I think the book is going to be either 100k to 110k, so we are closing in on the ending.
Meanwhile, I’m going to take a few days off for Easter. Have a happy Easter, everyone!

Are you going to continue a series with the Heptarchy, including Ridmark, Calliende, Third, Selene and the Madelgarda as they take down the Heptarchy?
Or will you begin a series with Rohanna Arban as the main character at some point? It feels like you’ve left the writings of Ridmark and calliende unfinished without the downfall of the Heptarchy.
Maybe. I haven’t decided what I’m writing after Dragonskull yet.

Look forward to the Cloak novel – I personally find your wizardly MC’s more interesting than your Knight MC’s to be honest. (well..with the exception of Caina – but she is a [Rogue] and so by default is always interesting)

I’m looking forward to ‘Cloak of Dragons’, but my question is about your covers. My apologies to the original artist, but I have to say how much more I like the versions on your website than the ones that originally came with the books. To me there’s just something “uncanny valley” about the original covers, which has changed on the new covers.
My question is whether you will, at some point, push an update to the books that will also update the covers, or if there’s a different way to make that happen?

Thanks! Glad you have enjoyed the books. I believe that if you delete the local file from your Kindle and download it again, that should update the cover.

Sorry to bear bad news, but deleting and reinstalling the kindle books is having no effect on cover art.
I noted that the cover art showing on Amazon is also not the new artwork, so I’m going to guess the problem is on Amazon’s side. FYI, I looked at the various Cloak, Ghost, and Demonsouled, series (and I recognize the last few Cloak Mage covers are not yet updated on your site). It looks like all the updated cover art shown on your site has not yet updated on Amazon.
It’s not something that will affect your readers’ enjoyment, but I’m sure it’s still frustrating, since you put effort into updating things.
