It’s only been how many years now? It feels like ages ago they first started talking about making it, then came all the legal disputes, then del Toro, and now, FINALLY, after years of putting up with all this back and forth crap, here it is…the finished product, in all it’s splendor!!!! This looks like it is gonna be good!!! 😀
Notes on trailer:
1) Is it just me or does that thing look sharp! I don’t know what PJ used but that film looks crisp and crystal clear!
2) Even with the makeup, some of the actors (McKellan, Holm) look much older, lol
3) Singing?! You mean PJ is actually going to allow a song in this one, for more than 5 seconds?!
4) Martin Freeman does look like a younger Bilbo, wise casting!
5) Some of the dwarves look a little..silly, shall we say? Save for Thorin, he looks like very cool, and not the way I pictured him in the book at all. In fact most of the dwarves look alot younger than I imagined them.
Regardless, I can’t wait, and I hope it lives up to the LOTR trilogy!
Now if only they would make The Silmarillion, hehe 😉
