Top 10 for 2025 (So Far) by Format

I now have complete sales data for the first half of 2025, so I thought it would be interesting to go see my top 10 ebooks, audiobooks, and paperback books of 2025 so far.

Let’s start with ebooks!

Ebooks:

  1. Shield of Deception
  2. Shield of Battle
  3. Ghost in the Assembly
  4. Ghost in the Corruption
  5. Cloak of Illusion
  6. Shield of Conquest
  7. Shield of Storms
  8. Shield of Darkness
  9. Frostborn: The Iron Tower (Frostborn #5)
  10. Ghost in the Tombs

No surprises there – most of the top 10 are books I’ve published this year or in the same series as ones I published this year. The only exception in FROSTBORN: THE IRON TOWER, but that’s because FROSTBORN OMNIBUS ONE had a Bookbub earlier this year that pumped up the latest books in the series.

Audiobooks:

  1. The Ghosts: Omnibus One (Unabridged)
  2. Cloak Mage Omnibus One (Unabridged)
  3. Ghost Armor Omnibus One (Unabridged)
  4. Dragonskull Omnibus One (Unabridged)
  5. Half-Elven Thief: Omnibus One (Unabridged)
  6. Cloak Mage Omnibus Three (Unabridged)
  7. The Ghosts Omnibus Two: The Ghosts Collections, Book 2 (Unabridged)
  8. Ghost Exile Omnibus One (Unabridged)
  9. The Ghosts Omnibus Three: The Ghosts Collections, Book 3 (Unabridged)
  10. Cloak Mage Omnibus Two (Unabridged)

No surprises there. The people love audiobook omnibuses!

Print:

  1. The Windows Command Line Beginner’s Guide – Second Edition
  2. The Linux Command Line Beginner’s Guide
  3. The Ubuntu Beginner’s Guide
  4. Shield of Storms
  5. Frostborn: The Gray Knight
  6. Frostborn: The Eightfold Knife
  7. Child of the Ghosts
  8. Half-Elven Thief
  9. Cloak of Illusion
  10. Frostborn: The Shadow Prison

If you are publishing nonfiction, it is clearly a good idea to do a paperback.

Thanks for reading and listening to the books, everyone!

Do you think the Half Elven Theif series ( WHich is really Good) has suffered by not being available on all e book platforms. For example I generally only use Kobo and the series is not on there so I waited for ages and saw more books coming out on Amazon so in the end I had to give in and get them on Amazon. Maybe others are more patient than me and are holding out on their preferred platform.

It might have. Once the series is complete I will take it to all the other ebook platforms.
