progress update

Well, it is Friday, so let’s see where I’m at this week.

BLADE OF SHADOWS is at 74,000 words. I think the rough draft will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 85,000 words, so I will hopefully finish it next week.

I am also at 8,000 words of WIZARD-ASSASSIN, which will be my next main project after BLADE OF SHADOWS is out.

In audiobook news, Brad Wills is recording BLADE OF FLAMES, and Hollis McCarthy is recording CLOAK OF EMBERS, and hopefully we should have those audiobooks before the end of the year.

I expect I will spend most of this weekend raking leaves. On the plus side, I should be able to see the new FRANKENSTEIN movie, which will be the final (or second to final) movie on my Autumn 2025 Movie Roundup.
