BLADE OF STORMS underway!

Well, the Christmas holidays are so well and thoroughly over that I now have a stack of tax paperwork on my desk. With WIZARD-ASSASSIN published, what am I working on next?

My main project right now is BLADE OF STORMS, the third book in the BLADES OF RUIN epic fantasy series, and I am pleased to report that I’m 55,000 words into it, which I think puts me about 55% of the way through since it should end up in the neighborhood of 100,000 words or so.

I know I said that I wanted to take the days between Christmas and New Year’s mostly off, and I mostly did! But there were quite a few instances when I was the only person not napping, and you can only play so many video games and eat so many Christmas cookies, so I did some writing in 1,000 and 2,000 word bursts. Do that enough times and it adds up.

Anyway, I am hoping to have BLADE OF STORMS out at the end of the month, but it might slip to February, perhaps depending on how long it takes me to sort through that tax paperwork.

My secondary project is CLOAK OF SUMMONING, and I am 8,000 words into that. If all goes well that should come out the month after BLADE OF STORMS is published.
