progress update

Friday is upon us, so let’s have a writing update!

I am now 67,000 words into CLOAK OF SUMMONING, which puts me at just slightly over halfway through my outline. This is going to be a long book. I’m aiming for about the length of CLOAK OF EMBERS, which was about 115,000 words or so, but we’ll see.

I’d say how many chapters I’m into the rough draft, but Chapter 1 was 10,000 words and Chapter 8 was 13,000, so they’re going to have to be split up, so I’m not sure what the total chapter count will be in the final draft.

I am also 5,000 words into BLADE OF WRAITHS.

The audiobook of BLADE OF SHADOWS, as excellently narrated by Brad Wills, is finished. As of right now it’s only available at Payhip and Google Play, but it should be showing up on all the other stores soon (I’m watching it upload as I type this).

It looks like we’ll also have the audiobook of CLOAK OF TITANS, as excellently narrated by Hollis McCarthy, probably in early March if all goes well.
