BLADE OF THIEVES rough draft done!

I am pleased to report that the rough draft of BLADE OF THIEVES is done!

103,500 words in 22 days.

It was an interesting lesson in the subjectivity of the writing experience. For whatever reason, writing this one felt difficult. Yet BLADE OF WRAITHS was exactly the same length, took six days longer to write, and that felt easier. Though in hindsight I was fairly ill for the first half of writing BLADE OF THIEVES, and then had a lot of Real Life stuff going on in the second half, so naturally everything (and not just writing) felt more difficult.

So I suppose the lesson here is that how you feel while you are writing something very often has no bearing whatsoever on how it turns out. A good lesson for both new and experienced writers!

I am also 12,000 words into CLOAK OF FROST, which will be my next main project.
