Wizards of Morcar!

It took a while due to certain International Trade Disruptions, but I am pleased to report I finally found a copy of the HEROQUEST expansion pack WIZARDS OR MORCAR.

It actually had to come from Germany.

I learned a lot about international shipping. Apparently every international FedEx shipment has to go through Memphis, TN. That seemed a bit surprising to me, so I ended up going down the Internet Rabbit Hole about international shipping. Apparently FedEx has this massive city-sized facility and private airport in Memphis, and the thing looks like a Borg Cube looming over the countryside.  All of FedEx’s international shipments go to Memphis first, and then elsewhere in the US.

Anyway, I did get a tracking number, so it was amusing to see that my package 1.) arrived, 2.) cleared customs, 3.) was loaded onto a truck, and 4.) left Memphis and arrived on my front porch all within five minutes!

Online package tracking may not always be 100% accurate.

It is odd to reflect that it took all this massive infrastructure to get a board game about wizards.

All that said, I am looking forward to trying out WIZARDS OF MORCAR!
