BLADE OF RIFTS progress update
Time for a progress update on BLADE OF RUINS!
I am now 92,000 words into the rough draft, and I am hoping to finish that up next week. I’m not certain how many chapters it will be. At the moment I have two Chapter Seventeens, since I messed up the numbering, and some of the larger chapters need to be split in half. So that will all get reorganized in editing, which hopefully I will start soon.
I am also 8,000 words into CLOAK OF SILVER.
DRAGONSKULL OMNIBUS ONE briefly reached #1 in its category on Amazon US Friday, which was nice. Thanks for reading the DRAGONSKULL series!
In audiobook news, Hollis McCarthy is recording CLOAK OF FROST, Brad Wills is recording BLADE OF VISIONS, and Leanne Woodward is recording ELVEN-WARLOCK. More news on those three audiobooks in the coming weeks!
I’ve been playing a fair bit of FALLOUT 4 lately. I’ve tried it before and bounced off it a few times, but I think I’ve figured out the gameplay loop now. Since it runs on the same engine as STARFIELD, I realized my preferred STARFIELD playstyle would work on it.
My preferred STARFIELD playstyle is Triple S:
1.) Stealth.
2.) Scope.
3.) Snipe.
So this is a lot of fun. It’s very enjoyable to wipe out a raider camp or some wandering synths from a distance before they realize that I’m even there.
More updates next week if all goes well!
