James Bond is actually a Time Lord of Gallifrey
I saw SKYFALL recently, and it was excellent.
However, it occurred to me that James Bond has been on the air for fifty years (much like DOCTOR WHO) and he has taken an incredible amount of physical abuse in that time. I began to suspect that he was in fact a Time Lord who regenerates between movies, which, of course, is the only logical explanation.
And then I found this article that proves it.

Skyfall was pretty good, Craig’s best, even though I’m not a huge fan of his Bond movies, I miss the old stuff…which is another reason why I liked this one so much, it was more Bond, less Bourne (unlike the last two films).
Exactly. The last two movies were to go for Gritty Realism, and then for SKYFALL they realized “Wait a minute! This is a Bond movie!” and then returned cheerfully to massive implausibility.
