GHOST IN THE MASK excerpt:

Let’s have an excerpt from GHOST IN THE MASK:

The slave poured the wine.

“Thank you,” Kylon said.

The slave blinked in surprise, smiled, and lowered her eyes. Kylon had grown up around slaves, had been served by them all his life. Then he had met that cold-eyed Ghost woman in Marsis. To save her friend’s son from the life of a slave, she had killed Rezir Shahan and thrown the attack upon Marsis into disarray.

She had changed the fate of nations, all to save her friend’s son from a slave’s collar.

Ever since then, Kylon could not be comfortable around slaves.

I’m really interested to see how Kylon’s character continues to develop. I think you have something in store for him because I don’t get the feeling he is a side character like Torraine or Riogan were, and he does seem to have a noble core. I was actually wondering if Caina and Kylon were going to develop as a pair after Corvalis heeded Claudia over the glypharmor, but after ASHES I have no clue. Still, I like seeing him in each installment and Caina’s effect on him. Keep throwing those curve balls, it’s more fun that way. 🙂 (Please though, not another Richard Mandragon scene, haha).

Kylon does have a major subplot in GHOST IN THE MASK. We’ll see whether it has curveballs or not. 🙂

Kylon is pretty cool, But he uses spells and magic of the sort. Caina hates that stuff. But still kylon is awesome.
