GHOST IN THE SURGE now underway
I finished FROSTBORN: THE EIGHTFOLD KNIFE about three weeks earlier than I thought, and that makes it the seventh novel I’ve written this year – GHOST IN THE FORGE, SOUL OF SWORDS, GHOST IN THE ASHES, FROSTBORN: THE GRAY KNIGHT, GHOST IN THE MASK, FROSTBORN: THE EIGHTFOLD KNIFE, and FROSTBORN: THE FIRST QUEST.
So. Seven novels this year. You know there’s only one proper way to celebrate, right?
Namely, it’s time to start an eighth! GHOST IN THE SURGE is now underway, and I’m planning (if all goes well), a release in January, along with some free stuff to give away to newsletter subscribers in December.
The first couple of sentences of GHOST IN THE SURGE:
Caina had to admit that Nisias Druzen, Lord Governor of Varia Province, knew how to throw a splendid ball.
A pity that she might have to kill him before the night was out.

I did the math, and including the short stories I’ve written about 700,000 words of new fiction this year, and I’m probably going to add another 100k to that by the time GHOST IN THE SURGE is done. 🙂
