FROSTBORN: THE MASTER THIEF: how long did it take to write?

Someone asked how I kept myself motivated to write the rough draft of FROSTBORN: THE MASTER THIEF in 22 days.

Practice, mostly. FROSTBORN: THE MASTER THIEF will be the 30th novel I have out, so I’ve done this kind of thing before. 🙂 Additionally, when I write something new, I try to hit a minimum of 3,000 words a day. I don’t always do it,and sometimes I can go further, but 3,000 words a day is a good minimum.

Anyway, if you’re curious, here is how many words I wrote each day while writing FROSTBORN: THE MASTER THIEF.

Day 1 3/8/2014 5000
Day 2 3/9/2014 4000
Day 3 3/10/2014 5150
Day 4 3/11/2014 3800
Day 5 3/12/2014 4500
Day 6 3/13/2014 4500
Day 7 3/14/2014 5100
Day 8 3/15/2014 4200
Day 9 3/16/2014 5000
Day 10 3/17/2014 4500
Day 11 3/18/2014 3100
Day 12 3/19/2014 7300
Day 13 3/20/2014 3700
Day 14 3/21/2014 4200
