GHOST IN THE RING underway!

Now that FROSTBORN: THE SHADOW PRISON is done, it’s time to go full speed ahead on GHOST IN THE RING!

I am presently on Chapter 9 of 21, and 43,000 words into the rough draft. I want to finish the rough draft before the end of May, and if all goes well, it should be out in June.

I’ll also have a really cool bonus for newsletter subscribers when GHOST IN THE RING comes out, so if you haven’t subscribed to my new release newsletter, this is a good time.

Now, a brief preview from GHOST IN THE RING:

To Caina’s surprise, a flicker of recognition went over the Umbarian’s face. Had she met him somewhere? No, she had never seen the man before, she was sure of it. But had he seen her before?

“Provost,” said the Umbarian. “I didn’t realize you would be here in person. We’ve located the relic, but I cannot breach the wards upon the doors to the vault. I…”

He fell silent, his eyes narrowing.

“No,” he said. “No, you’re not her.” He drew himself up, the fear draining from his face as rage took its place. “Who are you?”

Looking forward to it. Btw, IMHO, any competent wizard should be easily be able to explode ordinance if they can manipulate elemental fire and telekinesis. Every bullet/shell has an explosive charge in the primer. Unless it is shielded, a skilled wizard should be able to set it off with a combination of pressure and flame. All elven wizards should be able to do this, assuming they have a few seconds to concentrate.

Apologies..I meant to leave this comment in a Cloak Games post not for Cania! Anyways if a wizard is sufficiently skilled and has fine control over flame and telekinesis, they can make bullets/shells explode.

I’m afraid that would be a spoiler for the book. 🙂

Spoilers. Also, the Order has more than one provost. 🙂
