FROSTBORN: THE GRAY KNIGHT earns out

I am pleased to report that the audiobook of FROSTBORN: THE GRAY KNIGHT has earned out its advance.

Thanks everyone! I was traditionally published for the first time in 2005, so this is the first time I’ve ever had anything traditionally published earn out its advance. (The economics of self-publishing are better.)

But, then, it’s a mistake to think of an audiobook as a “book”, isn’t it? It’s really more of a one-man (or woman) audio play. So the economics of producing an audiobook are very different than those of publishing an ebook.
