reader appreciation

My technology blog, “Help Desk Screeds“, had its best month ever in October 2010 – both in terms of page views and sweet, sweet ad revenue. In fact, both were three times higher than in October of 2009. It’s a funny world – I make more money writing about Ubuntu Linux than I do writing about chicks with knives fighting sorcerers.

(Actually, that kind of makes sense – I suspect more people have a need for a reliable web and database server installation guide than for fiction about chicks with knives fighting sorcerers.)

And, of course, this blog is doing quite well, with “Ghost Rage” having rather more voters & visitors than I would have expected. My little Internet fiefdoms are thriving.

And none of this, friends and neighbors, would be possible without you.

So thank you, one and all, for visiting, and thank you all for reading. And thank you all for voting – “Choose Your Own Adventure” would be rather boring if I had to choose all the adventures myself.
